A Living Legacy of the Dhamma

Sri Lankaramaya Buddha Vihar stands in the historical city of Kosambi (modern-day Kaushambi), India. The temple was founded in August 2005 by Ven. Dr. Talammahara Siri Visuddhi Nayaka Thero when he purchased a small plot of land in the name of the Ananda Bodhi Society of India, building a modest shelter.

With the generous support of local communities and international Buddhist devotees, this project has transformed into a fully equipped temple complex. Today, it stands as a symbol of regional friendship, spiritual refuge, and humanitarian care.
